Let the CAMPING begin!
It has been one cold rainy spring so far, but that hasn’t stopped some hearty folks from camping. We have plenty of sites available this weekend and in the weeks after Memorial Day, and you can still take advantage of our early spring gas saver special - stay two consecutive weekends and leave your unoccupied camper free if unplugged or $1 a day if plugged in.
Check out the Activities Page to see when your favorite band is playing. We have one new band joining us this year, Common Ground, a local band from Bethel. We are also bringing back favorites from past years: Back in Time, 4 Play, Dan Morgan Band, Southbound Train, Club Soda, and Yvonne and the Reverbs. Reserve early so you don’t miss out on the fun!
The season will go by quickly! Have you made your reservation yet?
Looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to unwind? You’ve come to
the right place!
Only minutes off the highway, yet a quiet secluded haven, Abel
Mountain Campground is nestled along the third branch of the
White River and has 270 acres of trails. One hundred thirty-one
spacious, grassy sites are available; 117
water/electric/cable/sewer and 14 water/electric/cable. We have
freed up more riverbank sites for non-seasonal campers. All sites
come equipped with picnic tables and large fire rings. Enjoy the
serene and friendly atmosphere surrounded by the relaxing
sounds of the river.
We are in the heart of Vermont, so many of Vermont's attractions are within an easy drive - check out our links to recreation opportunities here. Like to dance? Play Bingo? Play Horseshoes? Look at the many activities scheduled throughout the season. Want to just relax? Book one of our riverside sites and enjoy a campfire while listening to the gentle sounds of the river.
With review ratings averaging between 4.5 and 5 online we know you won’t be disappointed. See the reviews for yourself here: Google, TripAdvisor, RV Park Reviews, Facebook. We look forward to seeing you this season at Abel Mountain!
